This project will create a pathway to SME business start-up for people from the more deprived communities of the Black Country, by engaging with, supporting and mentoring them so they access the augmented business support services available through Business Link via direct contact with an Enterprise Coach.

The Wonderland Adventure

Summer Club in Bilston

25th to 29th August 2010

Come along to our amazing summer club for 5-11yr olds.

Our holiday clubs are pretty famous now and are getting bigger and better every year!

From Wednesday to Friday come to either our morning session (10am-12pm) or our afternoon session (2pm-4pm). Then bring all the family on Sunday (11am-2pm) for our final session followed by an amazing Family Funday and BBQ, with loads of prizes to be won!

We’ve got stacks of exciting things planned for the week including games, crafts, videos, bouncy castle, drama, cooking, face painting, gunge and lots more! And all this for only £2 per family for the whole week!

Groundwork West Midlands

Community Task Force Wolverhampton

Supporting 18 to 24 year olds who are approaching 12 months of unemployment.

Groundwork is contracted to deliver CTF in Wolverhampton and are looking to work in      partnership with Community Organisations such as yourselves to provide voluntary placements for 18-24 year olds, the commitment needed from partners is to provide a 13 Week placement that will enhance client skill set — 25hrs a week work experience (maximum)

Groundwork CTF Team will also be working alongside the client to provide training and   support.  We are looking at a range of placements including Maintenance, Administration, Ground Maintenance, Retail, Catering and any other positions that are available.

Food Associates & Merchandisers

These are temporary positions with a view to becoming permanent for the right person

Food Associates – main duties will be serving customers, operating cash tills, preparation of both hot and cold food and table management.

Merchandisers – main duties will be serving customers, operating tills, promoting and selling BHS credit card, handling deliveries, filling stock etc.

Information sessions will be held on behalf of BHS to help recruit for their vacancies.

The 1½ hour sessions will be held on 20/08/10 at Wolverhampton College.
