Turn right and enter the park, at the first junction turn right (note the Walk 4 Life Marker here) keep to this main path passing a gate on your right (note if you're in need of refreshments go through this gate to reach some shops) - then retrace your steps into the park) on reaching a Children's Play Area turn right then take the first path left. Pass Tennis Courts on right and a Paddling Pool on the left (often dry). Soon you will reach some Flower beds to the right of the Flower Beds are some huts these are changing rooms for sports teams who use the park. Reaching the end of the Flower beds TL, just ahead and slightly right there is a gate, leave the park via this exit.

This is Hickman Avenue cross straight over into Sutherland Avenue passing Monmore Green Stadium on your left. Immediately past the stadium TL then left again down some steps. You are now on a disused railway line, follow this (dodging the rubbish!) to reach Chestom Road/Chem Road bridge. Leave the disused railway here and follow Chem Road  to Millfields Road.

Turn Left along Millfields Road  - to reach the Traffic Lights. Cross here to enter Village Way Passing EDM on the left then at the end TL onto Weston Drive continue along Weston Drive , keep Left to reach Canwell Drive(Optional diversion here keep Left to grassed area cross this to reach Springvale Way Turn Right at Island and on your Right is a Sculpture Roll Downwhich marks to location of The Blast Furnace 'Elisabeth' which stood here retrace your route to the grassed area ) Turn Right to reach Footpath Turn Right at end onto Footpath this will lead you onto the Canal, TL along the Canal for almost a Mile. Shortly after passing under a Bridge carrying The Black Country Route, TL onto The Bradley Arm of the Canal. After about ½ Mile you will see an exit on the Left immediately before Highfields Bridge.  A brief diversion is highly reccommended to visit Ladymoor Pool turn Left immediately before the bridge then turn Left along the road to pool is on your left. Now retrace your steps and rejoin the Canal and go Under Highfields Bridge.

Continue along the towpath for about a Mile (1.6 KM) on route you will see a British Waterways sign opposite concerning a 'Winding Hole' to reach Bankfield Bridge TL and leave the canal here. Turn Left and walk down Bankfield Road with the new Bert Williams Leisure Centre now on your Left passing Morrison’s Store on your right, at the end of Bankfield Road continue ahead to cross the Black Country Route (Use the crossings it’s a very busy and dangerous road) Bilston Market Hall is right in front of you TR and walk back to The Bus Station.
